We visited your beautiful gardens last Wednesday and I just wanted to send a belated thank you for allowing us to share this wonderful space for a few hours. It was the highlight of my week in Somerset.
You have done a wonderful job in creating gardens of interest, fitting to the house (which reminded me so much of my old school!) and yet clearly it is a family space as well. We loved it and I especially enjoyed crabapple walk and the parterre. We had a lovely chat with a 91 year old gardener too and he showed us into the church, which was a delight. Your comment about a little bit of Italy was just right.
